Pennington, the buildings that have become the core of Iron City Birmingham have had a long history in the auto industry and left a lasting impression on the Southside landscape. Our historic location was considered one of the most modern car facilities of its time. Conference Aston is een besloten vennootschap van Aston University in Birmingham en biedt hotel-, conferentie- en vergaderfaciliteiten op de universiteitscampus in het stadscentrum. Hoewel het onderdeel is van een universiteit, zijn het Conference Aston Hotel and Meeting Suites het hele jaar door te huren voor dagbijeenkomsten, residentiële conferenties en zakelijke banketten en evenementen. Ze opereren als een commerciële vennootschap met beperkte aansprakelijkheid, speciaal gebouwd voor de evenementenindustrie. Tijdens de zomer zijn, naast het aanbod het hele jaar door, de onderwijs- en accommodatiefaciliteiten van Aston University te huur van juni tot september, waardoor het beddenbestand met 800 kamers met eigen badkamer is toegenomen, de grootste vergadercapaciteit naar 650 en het aantal feestzalen naar meer dan 70. Let op: vanwege de huidige Covid-situatie zijn er wijzigingen aangebracht om ervoor te zorgen dat we Covid-veilig zijn en het laatste overheidsadvies volgen. Dit omvat een verminderde capaciteit van de vergaderruimte zodat de regels voor sociale afstand kunnen worden gevolgd, systemen voor eenrichtingsverkeer en de sluiting van sommige faciliteiten, waaronder de bar en het restaurant, voor hotelgasten.
