Het meest herkenbare symbool van dit gebied is de Brela-rots. Wat dit is, is een rots aan de westkant van Punta Rata, die een niet te missen bestemming is geworden voor iedereen die in de buurt is. De Brela-steen is een symbool van Brela - je kunt er een foto van maken, eromheen zwemmen of de steen van dichtbij bekijken vanuit een gehuurde kajak. Brela-rots is geen gewone levenloze rots, er groeien mediterrane bomen uit, alsof ze uit het niets zijn ontstaan, wat een favoriet motief is voor foto's.

Hoewel het een relatief kleine plaats is, is het versierd met maar liefst zes kilometer kiezelstranden. De stranden in Brela staan meestal op lijsten van de beste stranden ter wereld; Podrače is daar zeker een van. De bekendste van allemaal is Punta Rata, dat in 2004 door Forbes werd uitgeroepen tot het mooiste strand van Europa, en 11 jaar later werd het door het populaire portaal voor beste bestemmingen van Europa uitgeroepen tot een van de mooiste stranden van Europa.
