De Richardson Olmsted Campus in Buffalo, New York, Verenigde Staten, werd in 1986 uitgeroepen tot nationaal historisch monument. De site werd ontworpen door de Amerikaanse architect Henry Hobson Richardson in samenwerking met het beroemde landschapsteam van Frederick Law Olmsted en Calvert Vaux in de late jaren 1800, met een behandelingssysteem voor mensen met een psychische aandoening, ontwikkeld door Dr. Thomas Story Kirkbride, bekend als het Kirkbride Plan. Door de jaren heen, toen de geestelijke gezondheidszorg veranderde en middelen werden omgeleid, verslechterden de gebouwen en het terrein langzaam. In 1974 werden de laatste patiënten uit de historische afdelingen verwijderd. Op 24 juni 1986 werd het voormalige Buffalo State Asylum for the Insane toegevoegd aan het National Historic Landmark-register. In 2006 werd de Richardson Center Corporation opgericht om de gebouwen te restaureren. Vandaag wordt de Richardson Olmsted Campus omgebouwd, te beginnen met het nu open Hotel Richardson in het Towers Building en twee flankerende gebouwen (ongeveer een derde van de campus). Toekomstplannen voor de site omvatten de bouw van een nieuw museum in de culturele corridor van Buffalo, bekend als het Lipsey Architecture Center Buffalo.
