Hotel Bixio wordt sinds 1958 (het jaar van de inauguratie) beheerd door de familie Donati. Het ligt aan de kust van Lido di Camaiore, in het centrum van Versilia, omgeven door groene bossen, maar in de nabijheid van wereldse centra, zoals Viareggio en Forte dei Marmi, nachtclubs en amusementsparken van elk type voor kinderen. Heel dicht bij het grootste commerciële centrum in de omgeving (Esselunga), het ziekenhuis Unico in Versilia, de wekelijkse mobiele markt van Lido (maandag), een lunapark voor de allerkleinsten in de zomer en een karakteristieke kleine kerk. Alles is te voet bereikbaar of met de fietsen die bij het hotel zijn geleend. Het gebied is het beste vertrekpunt voor korte trips in Toscane (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Carrara, Cinque Terre, Portofino, Elba, enz.) die rechtstreeks bij de receptie worden geboekt. Voor de mooiste dag van je leven organiseren we huwelijksrecepties. We hebben een grote privétuin waar u uw gasten kunt ontvangen. Het hele hotelcomplex is uitgerust met alle moderne faciliteiten en gemakken voor uw verblijf.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
