Het onlangs gerenoveerde The Red Lion Hotel at Whittlesford Bridge is een moderne koetsiersherberg. Met lokaal geproduceerde gerechten die prachtig en eenvoudig zijn bereid, bieden we eten, drinken en onderdak in een traditionele maar eigenzinnige omgeving. Wij zijn 'Alles voor alle mensen' Delen van ons gebouw dateren uit de 13e eeuw toen karmelietenmonniken de eikenhouten balken hebben uitgehouwen die nog steeds op hun plaats zijn. We hebben veel hoekjes en gaten, lage plafonds en wankele vloeren die allemaal comfortabel zitten naast een glazen atrium uit de 21e eeuw en een zakencentrum met nieuwe audiovisuele technologie. The Red Lion biedt gratis parkeergelegenheid op het terrein en gratis WiFi in het hele pand. We hebben 18 individueel ingerichte slaapkamers met swooshy douches, Hypnos-bedden, beddengoed van dons en veren, flatscreen-tv's en wifi. De kamers variëren in grootte van een executive eenpersoonskamer tot een indrukwekkende bruidskamer. Nog eens 73 slaapkamers zijn beschikbaar in ons zusterhotel, The Holiday Inn Express Cambridge Duxford, dat er direct tegenover ligt. Parkeren kost £6,00 per auto per nacht voor gasten die overnachten, en is gratis voor daggasten In The Red Lion kunnen allerlei soorten bruiloften en bijeenkomsten worden gehouden. Onze kamers bieden flexibele indelingen, van bedrijfsfeesten tot vergaderingen van directeuren in bestuurskamerstijl. Deze lichte en prachtig ontworpen kamers met verschillende pauzemogelijkheden bieden plaats aan maximaal 140 gasten. In de zomermaanden kunt u genieten van lokale bieren, likeuren uit Belvoir en uitstekende Britse gerechten in onze Atrium- of eikenbalkenbar, terwijl u zich in de winter thuis kunt voelen voor een echte open haard of lekker op een bank kunt kruipen in de knusse omgeving. Gedurende zijn 700 jaar geschiedenis is The Red Lion een oase van gastvrije gastvrijheid geweest. Van het bieden van een rustplaats aan behoeftige reizigers in de jaren 1200 tot het verstevigen van zijn plaats in koninklijke kringen toen koning James I de eerste drankvergunning van de Rode Leeuw verleende. De laatste tijd werd het het sociale centrum voor militairen die gestationeerd waren op het nabijgelegen vliegveld van Duxford. Nu, na uitgebreide investeringen en renovaties, blijft de Rode Leeuw zijn deuren openen om de hedendaagse reizigers en lokale gemeenschap te verwelkomen.

Located in Rutledge Hill – just a few blocks south of Historic Broadway, in the heart of Downtown Nashville – Husk, from The Neighborhood Dining Group, is reinterpreting the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that begins in the rediscovery of heirloom products and redefines what it means to cook and eat in Nashville. At Husk, there are some rules about what can go on the plate. If it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door. The resulting cuisine is not about rediscovering Southern cooking, but rather exploring the reality of Southern food. Seed-saving, heirloom husbandry, in-house pickling and charcuterie programs by Executive Chef Ben Norton and his culinary team are the basis of Husk’s cuisine. Husk Nashville, located at 37 Rutledge Street, was constructed into the side of a hill between 1879 and 1882 by Dr. John Bunyan Stephens. Its storied history includes serving as Mayor Richard Houston Dudley’s home, where he lived when elected in 1897. The area was settled by the Rutledge and Middleton families of Charleston who were descendants of two of the original South Carolina signers of the Declaration of Independence. Mayor Dudley added the Carriage House located on property in 1890–which will serve as a space to satisfy the restaurant’s culinary whims and host private/special events. The design of the Husk’s interior spaces enhances the building’s roots while demonstrating a sense of Southern style, modernity, energy, and cosmopolitan flair.

Als onlangs gerenoveerd koetshuis hebben we veel eigenzinnige kenmerken in het hele pand. Vanwege onze lage plafonds, wankele vloeren en eigenzinnige omgeving raden we gasten met toegankelijke toegangsvereisten of wandelproblemen af om in onze accommodatie te verblijven.

Annuleringsbeleid

Als u moet annuleren vanwege Covid 19, neem dan zo snel mogelijk contact op met het hotel. Vanwege de onzekere aard van de omgeving waarin we momenteel actief zijn, behouden we ons het recht voor om elke boeking of prijs in te trekken of te wijzigen om ervoor te zorgen dat het evenement voldoet aan de huidige richtlijnen van de overheid, waaronder social distancing. Hierbij staat de veiligheid van onze teams en onze gasten voorop. We zullen proberen om, waar mogelijk, 30 dagen van tevoren op de hoogte te stellen van eventuele wijzigingen. Als zodanig blijven we flexibele voorwaarden aanbieden en kunnen we op dit moment elk evenement zonder boete annuleren als de overheid zou betekenen dat we niet alle elementen kunnen leveren zoals oorspronkelijk overeengekomen. Ons prachtige nieuw gebouwde zakencentrum is een originele en op maat gemaakte locatie, perfect voor uw volgende vergadering, dagje weg, canapé-receptie of trainingsdag. We hebben ook verschillende vergaderzalen van verschillende grootte met veel interessante pauzeruimtes, allemaal uitgerust met de nieuwste audiovisuele technologie en WI-FI. We zijn ideaal gelegen voor zakenreizigers, op 1,5 km van knooppunt 10 van de snelweg M11 en op 1 minuut van station Whittlesford Parkway met directe verbindingen naar Cambridge en London Liverpool Street. We bieden goed samengestelde, individuele cateringpakketten die zijn afgestemd op uw persoonlijke wensen. De huidige Covid 19-richtlijnen zijn dat we alleen bijeenkomsten van maximaal 30 personen kunnen aanbieden waarbij de sociale afstand gedurende de hele periode moet worden gehandhaafd.
