Het Royal Hotel in Forfar zal gasten die deze historische en prachtige stad bezoeken van harte welkom heten. Elk van de 21 kamers met eigen badkamer is individueel ontworpen volgens een hoge standaard met alle charme en karakter die u zou verwachten van een herberg uit de jaren 1700. De Royal Burgh of Forfar staat op wat ooit het centrum was van het Koninkrijk der Picten, de eerste kolonisten van de regio. Rondom de vruchtbare Strathmore-vallei, waarin Forfar trots zit, duiken raadselachtige herinneringen op aan de vroegste bewoners van het gebied, met mysterieuze vormen die diep in eenzame stenen zijn uitgehouwen, verspreid over het land. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
