Hotel Bajkal ligt vlakbij het stadscentrum, tegenover de bovenkant van het kuurpark. Het is slechts een paar minuten lopen naar de colonnade. Na een grondige verbouwing in 2003 biedt dit familiehotel met 81 bedden comfortabele accommodatie en spazorg in de balnea-afdeling. Naast het restaurant van het hotel kunnen de gasten hun tijd doorbrengen met vrienden in verschillende lounges. Dansavonden met livemuziek zijn daar een traditie geworden. Tegenwoordig biedt het Bajkal hotel zowel traditionele hotelaccommodatie als de onlangs geopende balnea-afdeling met zeer professionele complexe spabehandelingen, die al eeuwenlang de belangrijkste attractie is voor de kuurgasten.
