Over ons

Hotel Milano, een van de oudste gebouwen in het historische centrum van Salice, is trots op zijn lange verleden. Hoewel het moeilijk is om de exacte bouwdatum vast te stellen, weten we dat er al in 1727 een gebouw op deze plek stond. We hebben in totaal 42 kamers, 20 Superior kamers — 19 standaard — 1 suite — 2 familieappartementen. We hebben een gevarieerd kameraanbod beschikbaar voor onze klanten. Ons restaurant biedt plaats aan 120 personen voor restaurantservice of wordt opgedeeld in twee of vier kamers voor kleinere evenementen. Het hotel beschikt ook over twee conferentieruimtes voor kleine of grote vergaderingen en seminars.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
