Abbot Hall Hotel ligt aan de rand van het gehucht Kents Bank, vlakbij de Victoriaanse badplaats Grange-over-Sands; Abbot Hall is gemakkelijk bereikbaar via de weg of per trein. Het is een ideaal centrum voor het verkennen van het prachtige Lake District en ligt op slechts 20 minuten rijden van Newby Bridge aan de voet van Lake Windermere. Het is geschikt voor maximaal 100 personen in een-, twee-, tweepersoons- en familiekamers, waarvan vele een eigen badkamer hebben. Tot de conferentiefaciliteiten behoren een grote zaal met podiumruimte die comfortabel plaats biedt aan meer dan 100 personen, evenals kleinere kamers die als syndicaatkamers kunnen worden gebruikt. Er zijn ook vijf zelfstandige lodges op het terrein. Deze bestaan uit vier lodges met twee slaapkamers (waarvan één met faciliteiten voor mensen met een handicap) en één met drie slaapkamers.
