Gelegen aan de grote rivieroever ligt Shangri-La Bangkok, een betoverend toevluchtsoord aan de rivier in het hart van een zeer levendige stad. Met directe toegang tot treinen, veerboten en bussen is het hotel een mooie toegangspoort om het bruisende Bangkok te ontdekken. Het hotel heeft in totaal 802 kamers, waaronder 72 suites in twee vleugels, Shangri-La en Krungthep, en grenst aan het Saphan Taksin-station van de Skytrain, het verhoogde metrosysteem van Bangkok.
