Hua Hin is al meer dan honderd jaar een geliefde strandbestemming en dateert uit de aanleg van de spoorlijn die de bruisende metropool Bangkok verbindt met deze dromerige badplaats. Halverwege de jaren twintig werd het het uitverkoren vakantieoord voor de Thaise adel die zich aangetrokken voelde tot de onontdekte ongerepte kustlijn. Na verloop van tijd veranderde dit slaperige vissersdorp in een populaire kustbestemming met behoud van zijn ouderwetse charme en natuurlijke schoonheid. Deze badplaats is nog verder ontwaakt met de komst van ons prachtige hotel, The Standard, Hua Hin. En niet om op te scheppen, maar we hebben het op de Hot List van Conde Nast Traveler voor 2022 gehaald als het enige hotel in Thailand. De Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2022 zijn binnen en je hebt ons niet alleen uitgeroepen tot #1 resort in Zuidoost-Azië, je hebt ons ook tot #7 resort in Azië en het #35 -resort ter wereld gekroond. Ons toevluchtsoord aan zee ligt in een weelderig tuindroomlandschap met inheemse flora en groen, op een steenworp afstand van de Golf van Thailand. Onze kleurrijke collectie van 196 kamers, suites en villa's wordt aangevuld met een innovatief spaprogramma dat naadloos is gecombineerd met een levendig en levendig zwembadlandschap en een verscheidenheid aan drink- en eetgelegenheden voor elk wat wils. Er is het Lido-restaurant en -bar om de hele dag binnen of buiten te dineren, elixers en versgeperste sappen in The Juice Café, en het onberispelijk gerestaureerde Heritage House, Praça, voor authentiek Thais eten en ambachtelijke cocktails in een ongeëvenaarde omgeving.
