Villa Castiglione is een prachtig Passionistenklooster uit het einde van de negentiende eeuw dat onlangs volledig is gerenoveerd. Op slechts een paar minuten van het centrum van Florence, in de prachtige omgeving van de Certosa, heeft het zijn eeuwenoude schoonheid en sfeer nog steeds intact. De structuur werd een charmante locatie waar het mogelijk is om te verblijven in een van de 12 slaapkamers van de auteur, en ook een locatie waar bruiloften, vergaderingen, modeshows en elk ander soort evenement hun natuurlijke ruimte vinden. De ruimtes van Villa Castiglione zijn divers en moduleerbaar. Binnen biedt de structuur een salon die als restaurant wordt gebruikt, enkele salons die aan elk verzoek van de organisatie kunnen voldoen, 12 kamers op de bovenste verdieping en de originele kerk van het klooster, die zelfs als gewijde ruimte kan worden gebruikt als ruimte voor conferenties.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
