KM-evenementen vonden plaats in 2004 tijdens de NAVO-topbijeenkomst van de reglementen voor het galadiner van de premier, waaronder, in 2004, van de evenementen van de Islamitische Conferentie, in 2006 werd met de Baku-Ceyhan - Tbilisi-pijplijn de regeling voor het presidentieel diner geopend, opnieuw in 2006, paus XVI. Benedict's en Condoleezza Rice, die in 2007 in Istanbul zouden worden gehost, werd getekend.
