Lifupa Conservation Lodge is a beautiful retreat, located at Lake Lifupa in the heart of Kasungu National Park, Malawi. When the dam was built more than 25 years ago, it was carefully planned, providing the lodge with all the benefits from the largest water source in the park. Nowadays guests at Lifupa Conservation Lodge continue to admire the great diversity of animals visiting Lake Lifupa from our observation deck on the west bank of the lake. The main building houses the restaurant, bar and observation deck. From here you can comfortably enjoy the sights of elephants taking their daily bath at the dam and sit back with a Malawi Gin- tonic while catching up on your travel literature. The restaurant offers a mix of traditional Malawi cuisine with international influences. On both sides of the main building you will find thatched Rondavels in which our 16 rooms are located. All comfortable rooms have their own varanda and are equipped with en-suite bathrooms.
