Butler House was een integraal onderdeel van het Kilkenny Castle Estate en was de thuisbasis van de graven van Ormonde, die ook het kasteel, de stallen en de koetshuizen aan de achterkant bouwden. Grote trappen, prachtige gepleisterde plafonds, marmeren schouwen en een charmante ommuurde tuin zijn allemaal kenmerken van deze opmerkelijke Georgiaanse residentie. Butler House werd oorspronkelijk gerestaureerd in de vroege jaren 1970 door Kilkenny Design; ze hebben zorgvuldig alle originele architectonische kenmerken gerestaureerd en het huis op een zeer unieke en eigentijdse manier ingericht. De invloed van Kilkenny Design is altijd een van de unieke kenmerken van Butler House geweest. Het huis heeft sindsdien een aantal renovaties ondergaan, maar de invloed van het oorspronkelijke Kilkenny Design Team is nog steeds zichtbaar in het hele huis. Het huis beschikt over dertien speciale kamers en suites, allemaal met een eigen karakter. Elke kamer is ontworpen voor maximaal comfort en heeft een moderne badkamer en is ingericht met zacht op elkaar afgestemde stoffen en meubels. De balans tussen oud en nieuw is overal in de kamers aanwezig — moderne meubels worden gecombineerd met de prachtige originele kenmerken, die onze gasten een indrukwekkend gevoel van comfort en ruimte geven. Het huis heeft zich ook bewezen als een uitstekende locatie voor conferenties, bedrijfsevenementen en trainingen. De drie prachtige ontvangstruimten en een vergaderkamersuite hebben allemaal grote boogramen, hoge plafonds en een inspirerend uitzicht op zowel onze ommuurde tuin als Kilkenny Castle. Het is geschikt voor een breed scala aan behoeften; van kleine bijeenkomsten tot middelgrote conferenties van maximaal 120 personen, in verschillende configuraties.
