Playitas Resort ligt in de pittoreske baai van het vissersdorp Las Playitas in de gemeente Tuineje op Fuerteventura. Het ligt halverwege tussen de luchthaven van Puerto Rosario en Jandía in het zuiden van het eiland. De volgende grote stad, Gran Tarajal, op 5 kilometer afstand, is gemakkelijk te bereiken met het openbaar vervoer en biedt een grote verscheidenheid aan restaurants en winkels. Het resort bestaat uit 3 verschillende etablissementen: Playitas Aparthotel - perfect voor gezinnen met 114 studio's en 96 appartementen, Playitas Hotel - perfect voor individuen of koppels met 167 tweepersoonskamers, 52 junior suites en 4 zwembadsuites en Playitas Villas - perfect voor exclusieve vakanties met 24 villa's. Playitas Resort wordt het grootste sport- en trainingscentrum in Europa. Het biedt een grote verscheidenheid aan sportactiviteiten: zwemmen, fietsen, triatlon, golf, fietscentrum (met mountainbikes, racefietsen en fitnessfietsen) enz. Het sportteam biedt u een enorm assortiment aan sportprogramma's: aerobics, spinning, bodytoning, karate aerobics, aquagym, enz. In Playitas Resort vindt u een fitnessruimte van 700 m2, een olympisch zwembad van 50 meter, een golfbaan met 18 holes met driving range en PGA Golf Academy, banen, fietscentrum, volleybalcursus en nog veel meer. Het biedt ook watersporten: windsurfen, kattenzeilen, duikcentrum, enz.
