Het Hunt Museum stelt een van Ierlands grootste privécollecties van kunst en antiquiteiten tentoon, daterend uit het Neolithicum tot de 20e eeuw, waaronder werken van Renoir, Picasso en Yeats. Het weerspiegelt de uiteenlopende smaken en interesses van de twee mensen die het hebben gevormd, John en Gertrude Hunt. Er zijn artefacten uit Griekenland, Rome, Egypte en de Olmec-beschaving. Er is ook een belangrijke verzameling Iers archeologisch materiaal, variërend van neolithische vuurstenen en materiaal uit de Bronstijd, waaronder een schild en ketel uit de Bronstijd, tot latere christelijke voorwerpen zoals het unieke Antrim-kruis uit de 9e eeuw. Een van de sterke punten van de collectie is het middeleeuwse materiaal, waaronder beelden in steen en hout, beschilderde panelen, sieraden, email, ivoor, keramiek, kristal en kruisbeelden. De decoratieve kunsten uit de 18e en 19e eeuw zijn ook vertegenwoordigd met mooie voorbeelden van zilver, glas en keramiek. Tot de werken van kunstenaars in de collectie behoren Pablo Picasso, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Roderic O'Conor, Jack B. Yeats, Robert Fagan en Henry Moore. De speciaal gebouwde tentoonstellingsgalerij van het Hunt Museum toont een breed scala aan belangrijke tijdelijke tentoonstellingen, van openbare instellingen tot privécollecties. In het Hunt Museum is ook het Hunt Café gevestigd, dat een ruime keuze aan gerechten biedt, zowel voor degenen die een ontspannen lunch willen als gewoon een snelle snack. Terwijl The Museum Gift Shop een interessant en verrukkelijk assortiment geschenken van hoge kwaliteit biedt voor alle gelegenheden.
