De Mykonische regio Aleomandra is vernoemd naar de heilige Delische stallen die volgens de mythe onderdak boden aan de paarden van de Olympische god Apollo. Eeuwen later verrijst Kalesma Mykonos uit diezelfde Mykonische aarde om één te worden met de legendes. 'Kalesma' betekent 'uitnodigend' in het Grieks, een woord dat het ethos van ons luxe boetiekhotel in privébezit het beste uitdrukt. Geïnspireerd door Cycladische architectuur combineert Kalesma traditie met hedendaagse elementen en biedt het strakke en minimalistische interieurs die zijn gemaakt met lokaal geproduceerde materialen. Kalesma zit vol prachtige tegenstellingen en is modern, maar toch beïnvloed door rituelen en tradities; het is luxueus, maar met een comfortabele, pretentieloze elegantie; en de aandacht voor detail is nauwgezet, maar gasten kunnen nog steeds genieten van de spontaniteit van een Mykonische vakantie.
