Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB) is een stichting met algemene rechtspersoonlijkheid die werd opgericht in april 1996. Het is de enige promotieorganisatie voor de „verenigde publieke en private sector” in Okinawa die de behoeften op het gebied van toerisme en congressen integreert en tegelijkertijd streeft naar de wederopbouw van een sterk en efficiënt systeem ter bevordering van het toerisme in Okinawa. OCVB heeft bijgedragen aan de verdere revitalisering van nieuwe toeristen- en resortsectoren door bedrijven in te zetten om Okinawa aan te trekken en er reclame voor te maken in Japan en in het buitenland, door te bevorderen dat het systeem wordt gestroomlijnd om bezoekers te verwelkomen, personeel voor resortgerelateerde industrieën op te leiden en door verschillende evenementen te organiseren. De sectie MICE van het OCVB biedt financiële ondersteuning, zoals FAM-reizen, welkomstprogramma's voor vergader- en evenementenplanners.
