Ugbrooke Park ligt in Chudleigh, Engeland. Het ligt in een rustige vallei in Devon, aangelegd door Capability Brown. Het heeft een geschiedenis van 900 jaar, die is opgenomen in het Domesday Book van 1086, en vertoont een fascinerende verscheidenheid aan wijzigingen die door de eeuwen heen zijn aangebracht. Robert Adam en Capability Brown kregen halverwege de 18e eeuw de opdracht om het huis, het terrein en de tuin te verbouwen. Uitstekende Adam-interieurontwerpen en unieke uiterlijke kenmerken zijn bewaard gebleven; terwijl de uitgebreide interieurontwerpvaardigheden van Lady Clifford tegenwoordig in veel van de kamers tot uiting komen. Accommodatie in House Party-stijl met Lord en Lady Clifford als gastheren kan worden geregeld met gasten die verblijven in de zeven tweepersoonskamers en zes tweepersoonskamers met eigen badkamer. Elke kamer is prachtig ingericht en ingericht door Lady Clifford, een toonaangevende internationale interieurontwerper. De Norfolk Room toont de spectaculaire 18e-eeuwse borduurgordijnen. De Kardinaalskamer is luxueus ingericht; de Chinese kamer heeft oosterse zijden schilderijen en kunstvoorwerpen. Het huis bevat veel mooie schilderijen, meubels, prachtig handwerk en een zeldzame collectie militaire familieuniformen. Maar bovenal blijft Ugbrooke het comfortabele huis van Lord en Lady Clifford en het is een genot en een voorrecht om de geschiedenis en gastvrije sfeer van het huis te kunnen delen. Het huis en de tuin bieden een prachtige setting voor uw huwelijksreceptie. Als alternatief kunnen grotere huwelijksrecepties worden gehouden door een tent op te zetten op de West Front Lawn met een spectaculair uitzicht over de meren en het park.

Located in Rutledge Hill – just a few blocks south of Historic Broadway, in the heart of Downtown Nashville – Husk, from The Neighborhood Dining Group, is reinterpreting the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that begins in the rediscovery of heirloom products and redefines what it means to cook and eat in Nashville. At Husk, there are some rules about what can go on the plate. If it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door. The resulting cuisine is not about rediscovering Southern cooking, but rather exploring the reality of Southern food. Seed-saving, heirloom husbandry, in-house pickling and charcuterie programs by Executive Chef Ben Norton and his culinary team are the basis of Husk’s cuisine. Husk Nashville, located at 37 Rutledge Street, was constructed into the side of a hill between 1879 and 1882 by Dr. John Bunyan Stephens. Its storied history includes serving as Mayor Richard Houston Dudley’s home, where he lived when elected in 1897. The area was settled by the Rutledge and Middleton families of Charleston who were descendants of two of the original South Carolina signers of the Declaration of Independence. Mayor Dudley added the Carriage House located on property in 1890–which will serve as a space to satisfy the restaurant’s culinary whims and host private/special events. The design of the Husk’s interior spaces enhances the building’s roots while demonstrating a sense of Southern style, modernity, energy, and cosmopolitan flair.
