Het Umeda Sky Building is een spectaculaire hoogbouw in de wijk Kita in Osaka, vlakbij de stations Osaka en Umeda. Het wordt ook wel de „New Umeda City” genoemd.
Het 173 meter hoge gebouw bestaat uit twee hoofdtorens die met elkaar verbonden zijn door de „Floating Garden Observatory” op de 39e verdieping. Het observatorium biedt een geweldig uitzicht over de stad voor een toegangsprijs van 700 yen.
Het winkelcentrum Takimi-koji, een replica van een Japanse straat uit de vroege Showa-periode, bevindt zich op de eerste kelderverdieping. De kantoren beslaan de meeste andere verdiepingen van het gebouw.
