Het Currarevagh Country House Hotel biedt zijn gasten accommodatie van de hoogste standaard aan de oevers van Lough Corrib in Oughterard, Co Galway. We bieden gasten een oase van privacy in een idyllische, ongestoorde natuurlijke omgeving en bieden uitzonderlijke persoonlijke service met een hoogwaardige accommodatie en een ouderwets, traditioneel karakter. Onze 12 slaapkamers zijn individueel ingericht en bieden een ongestoord uitzicht op Lough Corrib of de bergen in het noorden. Gasten kunnen exclusief gebruikmaken van drie comfortabele zitkamers om te ontspannen bij open haardvuren, te genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht, door onze vele boekenkasten te bladeren of rustig te dutten terwijl het geluid van niets klinkt. Currarevagh House Hotel is trots op zijn unieke en individuele karakter, en dit komt duidelijk tot uiting in het heerlijke eten. Indachtig zijn Ierse roots en een geschiedenis die doordrenkt is van het bieden van gastvrijheid aan gasten gedurende honderden jaren, bieden wij een culinaire ervaring in ons gastenrestaurant die u nergens anders in Oughterard zult vinden.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
