De eerste grote ster die hier op het podium verscheen was La Goulue, de beroemde cancandanseres van het einde van de 19e eeuw. Het Parfummuseum, gelegen op de derde verdieping van de historische fabriek, werd in 1975 ingehuldigd. Dit was het allereerste parfummuseum dat zijn deuren opende in de stad Grasse: een bijzonder gewaagd initiatief in die tijd. Als klap op de vuurpijl wilde Jean-François Costa (de vader van de huidige directeuren) zijn bezoekers de mogelijkheid bieden om antieke voorwerpen te zien die de geschiedenis van parfum vertellen van de oudheid tot heden. Kostbare parfumobjecten (Egyptische bloslepels, middeleeuwse pomanders, enz.) worden tentoongesteld, naast schilderijen van verzorgingshuisvrouwen en antieke Provençaalse meubels.
