Het Astalo hotel ligt in de stad Rethymno, op de hoek van Kountouriotou Avenue en G. Papandreou Street. Het ligt op 75 km van de luchthaven van Chania, 88 km van de luchthaven van Heraklion, 500 meter van de stadshaven, 200 meter van het stadscentrum en 100 meter van het strand. Astali Hotel is een tweesterrenhotel dat in 2006 is gerenoveerd en beschikt over 36 een-, twee- en driepersoonskamers. De afgelopen zes jaar werkt het hotel samen met het Engelse reisbureau Thomson - TUI en de afgelopen zes jaar heeft het door het reisbureau de Gold Award ontvangen voor het beste hotel op Kreta in zijn categorie.
