Hotel Nickisch ligt aan de rand van de stad en dicht bij het koninklijke bos. Het is gelegen, met een zeer goede verbinding met het snelwegknooppunt Schuttorf A30/A31. Het ligt aan de voet van het Teutoburgerwoud, waar de elementaire natuurlijkheid van Emsland en het nabijgelegen Nederlandse parkachtige landschap samenvloeien in een gevarieerd landschap. Hotel Nickisch biedt 35 lichte, aangenaam elegante en comfortabele kamers. Het heeft ook zeven vergaderzalen.
