Plaza Nueva is het startpunt van de meest centrale en populaire straten van de stad, zoals de Avenida de la Constitución, waar de kathedraal en het Algemeen Archief van Indië liggen; Calle Tetuán, een voetgangersstraat vol winkels; Calle Sierpes en Calle Zaragoza, die ons over de Guadalquivir-rivier naar de meest traditionele wijk van Sevilla brengen: Triana.
Plaza Nueva is ook de thuisbasis van luxe boetieks zoals Loewe en Carolina Herrera. Aan een van de zijkanten van het hotel bevindt zich ook de kapel van San Onofre, de enige in de stad die 24 uur per dag geopend is.
