Steigenberger Alsik Het hotel is geopend in mei 2019 en is prachtig gelegen aan de mooie oude waterkant van Sønderborg en een nieuwe bezienswaardigheid in de omgeving. Het maakt deel uit van het algemene ontwikkelingsmasterplan dat is opgesteld door de wereldberoemde architect Frank Gehry en de realisatie ervan draagt de handtekening van Henning Larsen architects™. Niet alleen het uitzicht vanaf het platform net onder het gastronomische restaurant 17th (eetzaal) op dezelfde verdieping, de uitnodigende banket- en conferentieruimte met daglicht, maar ook de ruime en ultramoderne Alsik Spa (Nordic wellness) ruimte en de 190 kamers en suites die comfortabel zijn uitgerust in Scandinavische stijl, maken dit project uniek in zijn soort! Daarnaast is er in 2022 een nieuwe locatie toegevoegd op slechts 300 meter van het hotel. De perfecte locatie voor uw volgende conferentie, tentoonstelling of dinnershow. Locatie Het luxe hotel is gelegen op het eiland Als, in het centrum van Sønderborg aan de waterkant van de Alssund, op slechts 35 minuten vliegen van Kopenhagen, op slechts 40 minuten rijden van Duitsland en op 2 uur rijden van Hamburg. Er is parkeergelegenheid op het terrein beschikbaar. Duurzaamheid Alsik is 76% koolstofneutraal en een groen hotel van kelder tot dak en maakt deel uit van de visie van Sønderborg om in 2029 koolstofneutraal te zijn.
