Hotel Luxe ligt in het centrum, in de meest drukke straat van de stad, dicht bij de historische en culturele monumenten van de 1700 jaar oude stad, die door de UNESCO wordt beschermd als werelderfgoed. De ideale ligging van het hotel garandeert gemakkelijke toegang tot alle belangrijke delen van de stad. We bevinden ons op loopafstand van het beroemde paleis van Diocletianus, evenals van het busstation, het treinstation en de veerboot. Het hotel ligt vlakbij het populaire zandstrand van de stad Bacvice en de heldere heldere zee, evenals van het beboste park van Split, de 'groene ziel'-heuvel Marjan. Op de plaats van een voormalige oude fabriek die bijna 100 jaar geleden werd gebouwd, staat vandaag de dag volledig gerenoveerd en gereconstrueerd, het meest opwindende en modieuze boetiekhotel. In de oude stad Split kunt u nu genieten van ouderwetse charme en ultramoderne luxe. Hotel Luxe beschikt over 30 comfortabele en moderne kamers, een gezellige wellnessruimte, een eetzaal en een lobbybar met uitzicht op het stadsleven van Split. De eetzaal van het hotel is uitgerust voor maximaal 20 gasten voor zakelijke bijeenkomsten of presentaties. Het hotel biedt ook een vergaderruimte die kan worden gereserveerd voor privéfeesten.

De eerste inwoner van Split was de Romeinse keizer Diocletianus die rond 293 na Christus begon met de bouw van zijn paleis in deze vriendelijke baai. Na zijn troonsafstand trok hij zich terug in dit luxueuze paleis van ongeveer 30 duizend vierkante meter. In de daaropvolgende turbulente eeuwen werd het paleis een stad die eerst werd bewoond door de inwoners van het nabijgelegen Salona, op de vlucht voor Avaren en Slaven. De stad overgroeide de muren van het paleis en de autoriteiten bleven veranderen - van Kroatische koningen in de 10e eeuw na Christus, het Hongaarse en Venetiaanse bestuur tot Franse heersers en de Oostenrijks-Hongaarse monarchie.
