Hotel Marmont ligt in het hart van de mooiste stad aan de Middellandse Zee, Split, die trots is op zijn oude centrum: het 1700 jaar oude paleis van Diocletianus, een uniek werelderfgoed dat door de UNESCO wordt beschermd. De grote Romeinse keizer Diocletianus bestudeerde heel nauwkeurig de hele kust van Dalmatië, voordat hij de meest perfecte plek voor zijn paleis koos.
