Castello di Valenzano ligt op slechts 30 minuten rijden van de afrit Arezzo van de snelweg A1 („Autostrada de Sole”), en op een uur rijden van Florence, Siena, Cortona, Perugia en de Chianti-regio; het ligt direct aan de poorten van het nationale park Foreste Casentinesi, in een prachtige vallei vol kastelen, kloosters en romaanse parochiekerken, op een hoogte van ongeveer 500 meter boven de zeespiegel. We hebben 9 grote kamers en elke kamer is ingericht in een andere stijl. Vanuit de meeste kamers heb je een panoramisch uitzicht op de bergen van Pratomagno. Castello di Valenzano is ook een ideale plek voor grote evenementen zoals tentoonstellingen, congressen en zakelijke bijeenkomsten. De grote en pittoreske zalen bieden plaats aan maximaal 450 personen, verdeeld over de verschillende kamers.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
