Over ons

Ons Hotel Unterwirt is onlangs herbouwd en heropend in juli 2006. De Unterwirt is al 150 jaar het ontmoetingspunt op het centrale plein van Velturno en 5 generaties zorgen nog steeds voor hun gasten en doen dat nog steeds met toewijding en persoonlijke zorg. Tijdens de reorganisatie hebben we veel aandacht besteed aan de bijzonderheden en details van de omgeving, zoals de traditionele kastanjes en het comfort van de lokale boerderijen. Tegenwoordig bieden we een ruime Castaneda-wellness-ruimte, comfortabele kamers en suites gemaakt van hout uit de Isarco-vallei, heerlijke gerechten en een actief programma dat u de kans geeft om de pittoreske bergen van hun mooiste kant te beleven.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
