Hotel Petit Palais is opgetrokken uit een modern ogend gebouw met gevels gemaakt van travertijnmarmer. Het is gelegen in het Venetiaanse Lido, het eiland dat de zee (waarop het hotel uitkijkt) scheidt van de lagune. Verder is het slechts 15 minuten varen naar Piazza San Marco, het centrum van Venetië en 1 minuut lopen naar het 'Mostra Internazionale de Cinema di Venezia'. Hotel Petit Palais beschikt over 30 tweepersoonskamers, waarvan 22 met een fantastisch uitzicht op het Excelsior-strand en de zee en 1 eenpersoonskamer; 2 kamers hebben faciliteiten voor mindervalide gasten. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
