Over ons

Het Intra Hotel is gebouwd in 1879 en wordt al 3 generaties lang gerund door de familie Garlandini. Het hotel is het hele jaar geopend, ligt aan de promenade van het Lago Maggiore en dankzij de vertrouwde en stijlvolle ambiance en het maximale comfort bevindt het zich tussen de superieure driesterrencategorie. De elegantie en functionaliteit van onze 40 kamers zijn uitsluitend ontworpen om comfort en welzijn te bieden met aandacht voor de details, gewoon om de intimiteit terug te geven, zoals een thuis ver van huis. De kamers zijn comfortabel en verzorgd om de klant te ontvangen in een sfeer van licht en rust.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
