Tumlare Corporation werd opgericht in 1972 met het hoofdkantoor in Kopenhagen en een ondersteunend kantoor in Stockholm. In 1976 zorgde het toenemende verkeer van Japan naar Scandinavië ervoor dat Tumlare een verkoopkantoor kon openen in Japan. Vanaf dat moment duurde het nog maar 2 jaar voordat Tumlare de eerste inkomende touroperator was met eigen kantoren in alle drie de Scandinavische landen. In 1992 was Tumlare de eerste internationale touroperator die een kantoor opende in Moskou. De uitbreidingen werden voortgezet met de opening van een ander operatiekantoor in Boedapest om groeiende activiteiten in Oost-Europa te ondersteunen, evenals operationele kantoren in Helsinki, Sint-Petersburg, Praag, Wenen en recentelijk Tallinn. Tegenwoordig is Tumlare er trots op lokale vertegenwoordiging te bieden op al onze bestemmingen. Het verkoopteam van Tumlare volgde de groei en breidde zich internationaal uit, niet alleen naar Japan, maar ook naar Europa, Noord- en Zuid-Amerika. Tegenwoordig reikt het Tumlare-netwerk over de hele wereld en dankzij sterke partnerschappen kunnen we onze klanten in contact brengen met een lokale verkoopvertegenwoordiger in hun eigen regio over de hele wereld.
