Shrewsbury Lodge ligt aan de rand van het pittoreske beschermde dorp Oxton, dat vele uitstekende restaurants, bars en coffeeshops heeft, maar toch gemakkelijk toegang biedt tot het stadscentrum van Liverpool, Chester en Noord-Wales.
