Sutton Hoo is een angstaanjagend mooi landgoed van 255 hectare, met verreikende uitzichten over de rivier de Deben, waar een van de grootste archeologische ontdekkingen aller tijden is gedaan. Loop rond de oude grafheuvels en ontdek het ongelooflijke verhaal van de scheepsbegrafenis van een Angelsaksische koning en zijn dierbare bezittingen. Kom oog in oog te staan met je voorouders en ontdek onze prijswinnende tentoonstelling, de reconstructie op ware grootte van de grafkamer, prachtige replicaschatten en originele vondsten van een van de heuvels, waaronder een prinselijk zwaard. Kijk binnen in het Edwardiaanse huis of geniet van de prachtige seizoenskleuren tijdens onze landgoedwandelingen.
