De Club werd in 1977 opgericht om de viering van het zilveren jubileum van de koningin te organiseren. Nu 35 jaar later heeft The Old Barn Club meer dan 2500 leden en biedt iedereen een warm en vriendelijk welkom. Het is echt een familieclub met een bloeiende sociale scene. Het is ook een centraal punt voor feesten, een uitvalsbasis voor veel lokale organisaties en een ontmoetingsplaats voor mensen uit alle lagen van de bevolking. De Club heeft tot doel entertainment voor iedereen te bieden en organiseert op zaterdagavond livemuzieksessies. Het biedt leden het hele jaar door goedkope drankjes, samen met een gevarieerd en interessant menu uit onze keuken. De Pool Bar is onze nieuwe aanwinst waar leden kunnen poolen, darten en vele andere spelletjes kunnen spelen, terwijl de Bishop Room een uitstekende feestzaal en conferentiesuite is die plaats biedt aan maximaal 75 gasten en nu draadloze netwerkfaciliteiten heeft. De Long Room heeft twee kegelbanen, een bar en kan ook worden gebruikt als feestzaal en biedt plaats aan maximaal 150 gasten - ideaal voor bruiloften of andere feesten.
