Barley Hall is een prachtig middeleeuws huis, waar ooit de Priors of Nostell en de burgemeester van York woonden. De oudste delen van Barley Hall dateren van ongeveer 1360, toen de Hall werd gebouwd als het Yorkse herenhuis van Nostell Priory, het klooster bij Wakefield in West Yorkshire.
