Vaughan Park is an Anglican retreat and conference centre serving a wide range of public, business, private, individual and Church interests. The Centre exists to be an expression of Christian ministry through hospitality and the offering of regular worship. It may be understood as a not-for-profit enterprise providing highest quality service at a price affordable to as many people as possible. There are 18 single and 10 twin share rooms. Rooms are within four lodges and an accommodation wing. Each opens to a courtyard or garden and provides a desk, comfortable chair, hand basin and wardrobe. The lodges also provide a lounge, kitchenette and quality bathroom facilities. Additional people can be accommodated as day guests. The Thomas Vaughan Lodge offers two well equipped conference rooms one easily seating 25, the other 50: a spacious lounge, dining room, accommodation wing. Also, The Margaret Vaughan Cottage is especially suited for groups of up to 20. In addition, The lounge area is an ideal meeting area for up to 10, allowing The Clare House to serve as an attractive day venue for small meetings/conferences. Bishop Te Haara House, Bishop Buckle House and Robert Carmichael House are three accommodation houses are similar in design. Each has five single rooms and one twin share room. Each bedroom is equipped with a large single bed, or two in the twin share room. Independent door locks are fitted to each bedroom.
