Papplewick Pumping Station is located at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. It is an outstanding example of Ornate Victorian Architecture with two unique Watts Rotative Beam Engines. This is Britain's finest Victorian Water Works and the only one in the Midlands to be preserved as a complete working water pumping station. Papplewick Pumping Station was built between 1882 - 1884 to supplement the water supply for the growing city of Nottingham. It also offers meeting rooms that can be hired for your private events, functions and weddings.

Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.

We understand meetings do not always take place from 9am-5pm, we have you covered. We make ourselves available 24/7 for any changes or concerns you may have or last minute updates.
