The ‘Fontana di Trevi’, or the Trevi Fountain is perhaps the most famous fountain in the world and definitely in Rome. The baroque fountain on the Piazza di Trevi square was initially designed by Bernini for Pope Clemens XII. However, it was not built until 50 years later after a redesign by the architect Nicola Salvi. Construction lasted from 1732 to 1762. The fountain's fame is in part the result of the many films that featured the Trevi Fountain, including La Dolce Vita and Roman Holiday.

The Piazza di Spagna is found in one of the most popular neighborhoods of Rome, near the high streets Via dei Condotti, Via Frattina and Via del Babuino, which houses several impressive seventeenth and eighteenth century villas. In the center stands the Fontana della Barcaccia, designed and sculpted in Baroque style by Pietro and Gian Lorenzo Bernini.Piazza di Spagna, with its characteristic butterfly shape like two triangles that cross at the top, as well as being a symbol of the majestic Roman Baroque, is today one of the most exclusive meeting places in Rome, with its palaces, sumptuous hotels, famous shops and Atelier of great Griffes.

On Quirinal Hill, in the Dolce Vita district, you can discover one of the most famous squares in the historic center of Rome. It takes its name from Palazzo Barberini, home today to one of the city’s most important Art Galleries, where works by Raphael and Caravaggio are exhibited. In the centre of the square stands the Fontana del Tritone, sculpted in 1643. The fountain, made of travertine, is one of Bernini’s most notable ones.
