Clarion Congress Hotel Ostrava with the largest congress centre in northern Moravia offers top quality conference and gastronomy facilities. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Ostrava, next to the Ostravar Arena, the SSK Vítkovice City Stadium, and the most modern athletic hall in the Czech Republic. Ostrava-Mosnov airport is located as close as only 20 km from Clarion. It is only a short 4 km drive to reach D1 highway connecting Prague and Katowice airport (Poland). Meetings & Conferences facilities: spacious rooms for up to 1,620 delegates, largest hall with a capacity of 900 conference seats, Wi-Fi, modern conference and audiovisual equipment, daylight in most of conference rooms Clarion offers 169 rooms, including two Presidential Suites, ssingle, double and triple rooms, all non-smoking, also rooms with disabled access. Baby cots available. Services include: reception 24/7, free Wi-Fi in public areas, wellness, smokers’ terrace, secretarial services, 250 parking spaces, cloakroom and left luggage, washing and ironing.

Let us introduce you to Dolní Vitkovice (or as we like to call it DOV in short), the unique place which served for a black coal mining and production of raw steel between the years 1828 and 1998. It was in 1828 when Rudolf I. of Bohemia, the archbishop of Olomouc, ordered that the metallurgical plant be established in Vitkovice. This was the start of the unique place for heavy industrial production which until then was unprecedented in Europe. The industrial giant has now changed into no less unique educational, cultural, and social center with reach beyond the country borders.
