About us

On the banks of the River Thames, The Folly is located on the right hand side of the road as you walk across Folly Bridge from Oxford city centre. We are diagonally across from the 'Head of the River' pub, and can be reached via a staircase down to the restaurant and pontoon below. We are a Oxford's unique waterside cafe, restaurant and boating venue. Our beautiful riverside restaurant, floating terrace and characterful river launches can be exclusively yours for the day or evening. We host parties, weddings, meetings, drinks receptions and arts events year round in one of Oxfords most stunning, yet affordable, venues.
