About us
Hotel Altura is located on the foot of Altura hill in the resort Porto Rafael, only 2 km from Palau, between the extreme north of Sardinia and the world famous Smeralda Coast. Setting in the middle of a green and wild hill boasting islands like La Maddalena, Caprera and S. Stefano, the property is in the harmony with the landscape, composed by buildings of typical architectural style remembering the “stazzi galluresi”. A few steps from the unique Sciumara beachyou enjoy the real Sardinia, quintessentially of emerald green sea, enchanting places, fulled of flavors of evergreen Mediterranean Nature. Bicycles trips, canoe excursions, catamaran and windsurfing tours are filling in your days in the emerald green island the whole Europe wish to visit at least once.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We endeavor to build touristic scavenger hunts that mix easy and tough challenges, that are family friendly and fun. Moreover, we really try to provide insight and discovery about the city you are visiting.
Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
