About us
The Union Hotel is situated in the heart of Penzance, on what is considered architecturally to be one of the finest streets in Cornwal. The hotel has featured remarkably in many of the important events of the United Kingdom’s History. The hotel prides itself on its reputation for retaining yesterday’s standards in today’s modern world. You will find crisp white sheets, fluffy white towels and above all a high standard of care and courtesy from the resident proprietors and their staff. The hotel has been discretly modernised whilst retaining its traditional theme. All of its 28 bedrooms have central heating, colour television, radio, direct dial telephone, child listening and tea and coffee making facilities. Most of the rooms are en-suite and many have superb sea views across Mount’s Bay. Our function room, the Trafalgar Dining Room, reputed to be the finest example of a Georgian Assembly Room in Cornwall. Another beautiful Georgian room is our lounge which has also been fully restored and is ideal for reading or writing in comfort or as a perfect venue for meeting with friends.
