The Gallery is situated in the Perth Cultural Centre adjacent to the City train station and Northbridge, the City’s café and restaurant district. The Art Gallery of Western Australia has a dynamic and innovative cultural presence in central Perth, and offers itself as a one of Perth's most impressive venues that can be utilised for meetings, theatrette presentations, product launches, exclusive cocktail parties, formal dinners and special events. While guests socialise they have the opportunity to view art exhibitions drawn from the State Art Collection or visiting touring international exhibitions.

Alternatively, you may wish to join the Art Gallery Foundation, which was established in 1989 and has proved to be an invaluable resource for the purchase of many important works for your State Art Collection. , Foundation members are invited to attend special events such as exhibition previews with the Director, and behind the scenes lectures and tours with specialist staff, and artists in the Collection. Corporate Membership starts at $5,000 and is valid for 15 years. Donations to the Foundation are fully tax deductible and are acknowledged on the honour boards at the main entrance of the Gallery.
