St.Matthew's is a very active and mixed congregation with a worshipping community of around 300 in total. We aim to be inclusive of all, irrespective of age, race, ability, gender, sexual orientation etc. St. Matthew's are pleased to be able to offer you extensive professional conference facilities with optional catering and equipment hire. Whatever conference you're holding we're confident that you'll find St Matthew's conference facilities exceed your expectations & represent excellent value for money. By hiring our facilities you'll also be supporting us as a registered charity active in serving our local community.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
