Elk gebouw in het kleine plattelandsdorpje Ashton is gebouwd van steen en riet. De Chequered Skipper, gelegen op het dorpsplein, is al lang een favoriet bij wandelaars, fietsers en mensen die een uitstapje willen maken om een landgeheim op te graven in een dorp dat misschien verloren is gegaan in de tijd. The Chequered Skipper heeft onlangs een nieuwe ruimte en restaurant voor bedrijfsevenementen geopend, genaamd 'The Green Room'. Deze nieuwe opwindende ruimte, gelegen in aangrenzende smaakvol verbouwde schuren, biedt een flexibele ruimte voor grotere feesten, evenementen en zakelijke evenementen. De nieuwe ruimte biedt comfortabel plaats aan 60 gasten en voor grotere evenementen kan een partytent worden toegevoegd voor 150 zitplaatsen.
