The pathway to becoming Chattanooga’s favorite DMC. If you want to know where we came from, we’re going to have to go all the way back to the year 2000 (yep, we’ve been around for a while!). That’s when our company was founded in Tennessee, but back then we were known as Specialty Planners International (SPI). Our primary focus was on meeting and corporate incentive travel planning. It wasn’t long before we moved our headquarters to the glittering lights of Las Vegas, where we worked with corporate clients traveling all over the globe – everywhere from El Salvador to San Francisco. We loved our time under Vegas’ bright neon colors, but in 2014 the hills of Tennessee called us home. After moving our corporate headquarters back to Middle Tennessee, we expanded our offerings to include all DMC services. We found that having our trifecta of offerings made us truly unstoppable – DMC services, meeting planning, and incentive travel all under one umbrella. Our clients were thrilled! We like to keep things fresh, so we soon decided it was time for another change. That’s when we rebranded into Connect Event Group. We felt our new name really encompassed exactly what we do. We connect groups of people through strategic events, meetings, and trips. Along with the new brand, we also moved our company headquarters to beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee. And the rest, as they say, is history. And that’s how we became the leading Chattanooga DMC!

Our Nashville restaurant is located on Signal Crossing, a premier destination for shopping. The restaurant features an open churrasco grill where guests can dine and watch gaucho chefs demonstrate the culinary art of churrasco as they butcher, prepare, and grill different cuts of meat over an open flame. The main dining room is anchored by a white Carrara Market Table and our signature bas-relief interpretation of Antonio Carigni’s O Lacador statue, the embodiment of the gaucho culture. The restaurant also features soaring wine displays, dry-aged meat lockers for in-house aging, and a lively indoor bar, ideal for all-day happy hour.

ProEvent Video provides professionally managed event video and photography through a vetted local professional network in major U.S. event markets. Local videographers and photographers handle on-site capture, while ProEvent centrally manages planning, production oversight, editing, and final delivery to ensure consistent quality from market to market. We support corporate events, conferences, trade shows, activations, and live experiences from pre-production planning through final post-production. Services include conference and keynote coverage, trade show and in-booth video, social media content, interviews and customer testimonials, event photography, executive portraits, and branded photo and video booth experiences. Every project begins with the client’s brief. We align on goals, shot priorities, and deliverables in advance, coordinate the appropriate local professional for the assignment, and oversee production to keep the project organized, on brand, and on schedule. Because our model uses experienced local professionals rather than flying production teams from market to market, clients benefit from strong local talent, reduced travel costs, and one consistent point of contact managing the entire process. Final deliverables can include highlight reels, recap videos, social clips, event photography galleries, executive and team portraits, slideshows, branded content assets, and other post-event media for marketing, PR, internal communications, sales, and future promotion.
