Fogo Plano anchors the north end of the premier Legacy West urban village, home to luxury shops and hotels, renowned restaurants and esteemed corporate headquarters. Upon entering the restaurant, guests have a panoramic view of the grand dining room which features soaring windows, an expansive bar, a White Carrara marble Market Table, and views of an open churrasqueira grill. Guests can luxuriate in premium dry-aged steaks from an on-site aging cabinet, and a first-ever Churrasco Bar experience with personalized service from gaucho chefs. In 1878, Thomas Dudley Wooten, one of the founders of the University of Texas, purchased the land on which Hotel Ella now sits. Wooten’s son, Goodall, moved into the home on the property in 1900 with his new wife, Ella, who oversaw its transformation into a Greek revival mansion. The mansion underwent an extensive renovation in 2013, and now offers the perfect balance between modernity and a rich history rooted in the fabric of the neighborhood and the university.
